The group stage is over, the 2018 World Cup knockout stage begins and 16 sides begin their bids for glory this weekend. The competition has thrown up eight intriguing fixtures. There are ten teams from Europe, four from South America and one each from North America and Asia. Some teams will be renewing acquaintances with familiar rivals whereas some have very little knowledge with their second-round opponents.
